I was born in Ballston Spa, NY. I lived my younger years in the rural town of Corinth in upstate NY. I was the youngest of 6 siblings, with eight years between myself and my next oldest brother. I remember while growing up it often felt like I was alone due to the age difference. My aunt and grandmother passed on when I was 5 years old. I also lost 2 pets at a very young age. My dad then passed when I was still in school. No wonder I found myself searching for a feeling of connectedness!
When I was 5 years old, I attended my first philosophy class with my parents. After more than 50 classes and reviews, I developed a Spiritual understanding and foundation with the goal of Knowing Thyself. This experience along with church attendance was my introduction to Spirituality.
I saw an ad at the local YMCA in 2001 that spoke of unconditional inner peace and I was drawn to it. A Course in Miracles (ACIM) has provided a deeper spiritual foundation for reliably experiencing connectedness and inner peace. I have studied under local teachers like Ray Newman and Ray Angelini since 2001. ACIM gives me spiritual principles that can be universally applied for all situations. In fact, I still rely on A Course in Miracles as my Spiritual guide.
